3. CATEGORIES OF DATA, PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF PROCESSING

We use our own analytics system PriviMetrics, which is:

• cookieless,
• self-hosted,
• privacy-first,
• non-invasive,
• and does not track individual users across websites.

Categories of data processed in PriviMetrics:

In the scope of website analytics we may process only the following minimal, technical and aggregated data:

• Number of visits to the website,
• Approximate country of the visitor, determined based on browser time zone and browser language settings,
• Type of browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari),
• General technical information necessary for aggregated statistics.

These data do not identify any individual person and are used only in statistical form.

Source of data:

The above data are obtained directly from the user’s browser during normal use of the website.

No external tracking services are used.

Purposes of processing:

We process data solely for the purposes of:

• improving website performance,
• analyzing general website traffic trends,
• detecting technical issues,
• ensuring website security and stability,
• handling Commercial Use Submissions for WebOrbiton,
• contacting users regarding licensing decisions,
• documenting consent where applicable.

What we do NOT collect:

We do not collect or store:

• full IP addresses in analytics,
• unique persistent identifiers,
• browsing history of individual users,
• personal behavioral profiles,
• keystrokes,
• screen recordings,
• mouse movements,
• personal identities,
• or any data that allows us to identify a specific individual.

4. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (RODO)

We rely on the following legal bases under GDPR (RODO):

• Art. 6(1)(a) – consent where explicitly required,
• Art. 6(1)(b) – processing necessary to handle licensing and contracts,
• Art. 6(1)(f) – legitimate interest in maintaining website security, performance, and communication with users.

Because PriviMetrics is cookieless and does not store tracking technologies on the user’s device, no consent banner is required for analytics.

5. DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Analytics data collected via PriviMetrics are stored in aggregated, non-identifying form for:

• up to 12 months for statistical analysis,
• or longer if necessary for security or technical troubleshooting.

Personal data submitted via forms (e.g., Commercial Use Submission) are stored for:

• the duration of cooperation,
• and up to 5 years after last contact, unless legal regulations require otherwise.

6. SERVER LOGS

Our hosting provider (Hostinger) may automatically record technical server logs, which can include:

• IP address in system logs,
• date and time of request,
• technical response status of the server.

These logs are used exclusively for technical maintenance, security, and troubleshooting.

7. DATA RECIPIENTS

Your data may be processed by the following trusted service providers:

• Hosting services – Hostinger.com (server infrastructure),
• Email services – Titan Mail,
• Form management – Tally.so (for licensing submissions).

Important:

• We do not send analytics data to third parties.
• PriviMetrics runs on our own server (self-hosted).
• We do not use Google Analytics, Meta, or third-party trackers.
• Data will only be disclosed to public authorities if legally required.

8. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

You have the right to:

• access your data,
• rectify your data,
• delete your data,
• restrict processing,
• object to processing (especially under Art. 6(1)(f)),
• transfer your data to another controller,
• withdraw consent at any time,
• lodge a complaint with PUODO.

9. VOLUNTARY NATURE OF DATA PROVISION

Providing personal data in forms is voluntary, however:

Failure to provide required data will make it impossible to process a licensing request.

Analytics data collected via PriviMetrics do not require user action or consent due to their anonymized nature.

10. AUTOMATED PROCESSING AND PROFILING

We do not profile users.

We do not use automated decision-making based on personal data.

PriviMetrics analyzes only anonymous, aggregated traffic patterns.

11. TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EU

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Union.

All data are stored on servers located within the EU (Hostinger infrastructure).
